Itinerary

Day 1 - Sembalun Village to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m)

After registration at the Rinjani National Park entrance, the trek begins through the beautiful Sembalun savanna. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills and open grasslands while hiking through several rest posts along the route.

After lunch on the trail, continue ascending to the Sembalun Crater Rim. Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a stunning sunset overlooking Segara Anak Lake and the volcanic landscape below.

Wake up around 2:00 AM for the summit climb. Reach the Mount Rinjani Summit (3,726m) in time for sunrise and enjoy breathtaking views across Lombok, Bali, and Sumbawa.

After descending back to the crater rim for breakfast, continue the trek down to Segara Anak Lake. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake and visiting the nearby natural hot springs.
